The executive secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Board, Reverend Yakubu Pam, has commended the Presidential Election Tribunal for affirming the election of Tinubu as Nigeria’s President during the 2023 general elections. According To Punch paper, Reverend Pam disclosed this while reacting to the recent judgement delivered by the Tribunal yesterday.
Recall that in a unanimous judgement passed by the five justices of the Presidential Election Tribunal, the court upheld that Tinubu is the real winner of the 2023 election because both Atiku and Peter Obi failed to prove that the election was rigged in favour of the ruling party. Reacting to the development, Reverend Pam stated that the victory is not for President Tinubu alone, it is for all Nigerians and lovers of democracy. He begged the opposition parties to join hands with the President to move Nigeria forward.
Pam said, “The victory is not to the President alone but to Nigerians as well. I have seen where people are congratulating President Bola Tinubu but this congratulation should be extended to all Nigerians for the victory of democracy. We commend our judiciary for standing strong and to continue to do the right thing.”
