The Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) recently launched the Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan rail service, officially known as the Lagos – Ibadan Train Service (LITS).

This new service offers fully air-conditioned train services with different categories to cater to various passengers. The trains are equipped with newly acquired coaches and locomotives, providing options for Economy, Business, and First Class tickets. The official commissioning of the rail line was conducted by President Muhammadu Buhari on June 10, 2021.
