Beware of Abroad-based Returnees This Christmas – Mary Remmy Njoku Warns Women As She Recounts Personal Story

Nigerian women have been given a warning concerning abroad based returnees this Christmas.

Actress Mary Remmy Njoku gave the warning on her social media page while recounting an experience.

She said many of them are not what they claim to be.

She recalled a personal experience with a returnee who had a “weird accent and pocket full of lies”.

She said the man claimed to run a big law firm in London.

Years later, she saw him in a barber shop in the UK and he couldn’t look her in the eye.

“So, be careful with IJGB (I just got back) this Christmas,” she wrote. “I wanna gonna is not a measure of one’s intelligence or success.”
