President Tinubu will likely bring the benefits of democracy to Nigerians, according to Dame (Dr) Blessing Nwagba, a former member of the Abia State House of Assembly who ran for the Abia South Senatorial District in the last election on the platforms of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC).

Dame (Dr) Blessing Nwagba reportedly said this in an exclusive interview with The Sun paper.

“If the history of a leader is any indication, Tinubu is known to be a go-getter,” she remarked. His accomplishments as the governor of Lagos State are plain to see, and he has a history of leading one of the best teams in the nation; for these reasons, even prior to his election as president of the nation, he stands out among the other former governors from the class of 1999.

“These are some of the reasons I am certain that he will succeed,” he continued. In less than three months in office, he has already proven that he has the resolve to make the difficult choices that some previous presidents were unable to. It is true that some people find some of the names the president suggested for ministerial positions unsettling.

The Igbo leader stated further; Why so many past governors are on the list is being questioned by some. To adequately evaluate them, in my opinion, we should wait till they are issued portfolios (they already have portfolios), I am convinced that President Tinubu would leave both the economy and the nation as a whole in better shape than he found them.
