Let me tell you the truth, I already knew that Peter Obi will not win the election- Nyesom Wike

According to Channels Television report, Nyesom Wike, the current FCT minister has reacted to the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) in Abuja. In his response, he expressed his belief that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, could not have won the recently-conducted presidential election.

Despite the legal challenges and petitions filed by both Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Nyesom Wike voiced his view that Peter Obi’s chances of winning the election were slim. He described the election as tough and credited the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its role in the electoral process.

“I know that he (Peter Obi) won’t win the election. Let me tell you the truth, I am a realist. For me, the way the election went, it was a tough election. I give it to INEC (the Independent National Electoral Commission).”
