Reactions Trail Atiku And Obi's Absence As Presidential Election Petition Court Begins Proceedings

According to a report made by Channels Television on their official Twitter handle, the two presidential candidates of their respective parties are challenging the announcement of APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential candidate.

Today was set aside for the final judgement at the presidential election petition court tribunal to declare who actually won the 2023 presidential election. The court is already filled up and Nigerians are eager to hear whom the winner is.

But the absence of PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and LP’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi when the proceedings started at the appeal court has sparked mixed reactions from Nigerians and Twitter users.

Instead of coming in person, Peter Obi was represented by Julius Abused Aruna when the chairman of the Tribunal Justice Haruna Tsammani called on the petitioners and responders to introduce themselves and the same thing with Atiku Abubakar.

Reacting to this, some Nigerians are demanding to know why they are absent on the final hearing while others are asking why Tinubu is also absent and not showing a good example as the president.

Below are some screenshots of comments from Twitter users.
