Akpabio, Abbas should drop the scandalous plan to spend N110 billion on 465 exotic cars, SERAP warns

A Socio-Economic advocacy group, Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has called on the the Senate President, Mr Akpabio and the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt Hon Tajudeen Abbas, to drop the scandalous plan to spend over 100 billion naira on purchasing about 465 exotic and bulletproof cars for the federal lawmakers.

SERAP took to its official Twitter handle to make this known following rumours that the Senate and House of Representatives are planning to procure 465 exotic and bulletproof cars for its members.

“We’ve asked the Senate President, Mr Akpabio and Speaker of House of Reps, Mr Abass to drop the scandalous plan to spend N110 billion on 465 exotic and bulletproof cars for lawmakers and on ‘pallatives’ for new members, or face legal action.” SERAP warned.
