Speaking to journalists in Bauchi on Tuesday, Darazo conveyed his strong belief in President Tinubu’s potential victory over Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
He remarked, “I will choose to rename my daughter after Tinubu’s late mother if he emerges victorious at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. I am making this decision to express my gratitude to God for securing Tinubu’s success in the election.”
Darazo also wanted to emphasize that President Bola Tinubu is a valuable asset to the country. He highlighted that Tinubu is not only a skilled politician but also a dedicated family man with a strong influence on Nigeria’s political landscape.
Furthermore, Darazo commended the president for reappointing Malam Ya’u Shehu Darazo as his Special Adviser for political and inter-governmental affairs. This came after Malam Ya’u Shehu Darazo had previously served as Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties under former president Mohammadu Buhari.
