Fight insecurity squarely and resolutely remains my first priority in the new Nigeria- Peter Obi

Labour Party’s presidential aspirant, Peter Gregory Obi, has emphasized that his primary concern in a reformed Nigeria, a goal he has been advocating for, revolves around addressing the pressing issue of insecurity.

In a tweet from his verified Twitter account on Thursday, the former Governor of Anambra State conveyed his position while responding to the tragic loss of lives among Air Force personnel in Niger state a few days ago.

Obi asserted that if he were to assume the presidency, his paramount focus would be to confront the challenge of insecurity head-on and with unwavering determination. He underscored that this commitment forms the cornerstone of his priorities, and he remains steadfast and resolute in his approach. Emphasizing his core principles, he reiterated that, to him, three fundamental elements take precedence: security, peace, and progress.

Part of his statement reads: you”…my primary commitment, should I become president, is to decisively and unflinchingly combat insecurity. It remains my foremost and enduring priority, and I will not waver or falter.”

Since making this declaration, his statement has prompted diverse reactions and feedback from users across various social media platforms.
