Ex-lawmaker, Shehu Sani has advised president of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, not to weaponise electricity supply against Niger Republic in tackling the leadership crisis in the West Africa country.
According to Daily Post, the former lawmaker, Shehu Sani, stated that the president of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,should be careful with his actions with the issue so that he will not to be the new apprentice of French neo-colonialism in the Economic community of West African States, ECOWAS, sub-region.
In a tweet on Sunday, 6th August 2023, social media critic is of the view that Nigeria shouldn’t be the vigilante of imperialism in West Africa.
According to Daily Post, the former lawmaker, Shehu Sani, advised that Nigeria should seize the moment and seek a new independent West Africa; starting with killing the CFA, Cedi and Naira and adopting a common West African Currency.
