Atiku Reveals Details Of PDP Stakeholders’ Meeting In Abuja

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president in 2023, has provided information about the party stakeholder meeting that took place in Abuja.

Vanguard report that, That prominent PDP figures and a few chiefs got together at the governor of Bauchi State’s lodge in Asokoro, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Bala Mohammed, the chairman of the PDP Governors Forum and the governor of Bauchi, as well as the governors of Adamawa, Bayelsa, Delta, Oyo, and Taraba states, as well as Sheriff Oborevwori and Ademola Adeleke, were among the party officials present at the meeting.   

The meeting follows a related one that was held a fortnight earlier at the home of the former minister of foreign affairs, Tom Ikimi, in Abuja.

On Saturday, Atiku said in a tweet sent from his verified Twitter account said the meeting gave party leaders a chance to closely assess the status of the country as it stands right now.

The former Vice President continued by saying that the gathering gave party leaders the chance to carefully outline a future course from the crucial cross road they are currently on.

Ifeanyi Okowa, Atiku’s running partner and the outgoing governor of Delta State, PDP Governors, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) were also present, according to Atiku.

“Earlier today, I joined other leaders and stakeholders of our prestigious party, @OfficialPDPNig, including Governors, members of the PDP NWC, and my vice presidential candidate, Dr. @IAOkowa,” he said.

This gathering gave us the chance to carefully assess the current state of our country and to calmly articulate a way out of the difficult situation we are now in.
