25% in FCT is compulsory, neither Tinubu nor Atiku got it, They failed the requirement – Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu, a Nigerian journalist and PDP chieftain said that getting 25% in FCT is mandatory to become President of Nigeria and on that basis Atiku and Tinubu failed the requirement.

Dele Momodu made this statement in a podcast interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Twitter, in which Seun asked what he would say about his manager Atiku Abubakar, who has not had 25% circulation in two-thirds of the states in recent years. Presidential elections as required by law.

Dele Momodu replied that he was sure Seun knew that Atiku Abubakar was suing 21 states in court. He said his opinion is that while people use semantics to confuse “25% is mandatory in FCT, so neither Atiku nor Tinubu had it, which therefore means the requirements failed. You can see, how objective I am now. So that’s the first problem for me.

He said that other things were brought against Tinubu. He said he wasn’t a lawyer and didn’t feel comfortable talking about it, so it was up to the court to talk about it.

“On that basis, I believe the election is inconclusive. I think they should do a repeat, if I do say so myself. That’s how I’ll see it.
