SP Asinim Butswat, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), corroborated the report when contacted.

Butswat stated that the suspect, who is from Delta’s Ugheli North Local Government Area, was being held at the state Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
