Alhaji Gidado Siddikki, the president of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association’s South-East branch, has urged President Bola Tinubu to appoint members of his organization even as office janitors at the White House.
This was said by Siddikki on Thursday in Awka when speaking to the media on the state of the country at the time.
He claimed that in light of their prayers and the 85% of the vote that Tinubu received on February 25, 2023, the call for the appointment of its members was required.
He bemoaned the fact that, up to this moment, none of the President’s appointments to boards, parastatals, and other positions have been Miyetti Allah members, including the most recent ministerial nominees that the Senate has approved.
According to The Punch, he complimented the governors of the South East for continuing to support the association in the area.
He appealed to all levels of government to support the livestock industry as well, stressing that it was slowly dying out from a lack of funding.
