Primate Elijah Ayodele, a prominent Nigerian cleric and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has responded to the judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, which upheld the victory of former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the presidential election.

According to The Sun paper, Ayodele suggested that there will be more dramatic developments at the tribunals, including the possibility of more Senators, House of Representatives members, and even some governors losing their positions through tribunal decisions. He highlighted that Nigerians’ confidence in the electoral system is diminishing due to these developments. Ayodele mentioned the power behind the “Emilokan” mantra and its role in these political events. He emphasized that it is not Tinubu himself but the spiritual force behind Emilokan that is at work, and it has already defeated Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s election petitions.

Hear him: “We are still going to witness more drama at the tribunals. Tribunals will still unseat more Senators. More House of Representatives members will still go. In fact, some governors are at risk of losing out at the tribunals. Nigerians’ confidence in the electoral system is waning. After the Supreme Court’s judgment, the confidence level will depreciate further because the power behind Emilokan will cover whatever loophole is in the last election. It is not Tinubu that is at work, it is the spirit behind Emilokan that is at work and it has already defeated Obi and Atiku.”
