The National Working Committee (NWC) of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has refuted the purported suspension of Rabiu Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate of the party.

The party’s national auditor, Ladipo Johnson, stated this at a news conference on Wednesday at the NNPP national headquarters in Abuja.

Johnson, a former spokesperson for the Kwankwaso Presidential Campaign Council, declared that the suspension was null and void.

Gov Bago sets Niger’s annual revenue target at N120bn

Niger State governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has given all revenue-generating ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) a marching order to generate an annual Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of N120 billion.

Bago gave the order when he presided over the enlarged inaugural State Executive Council (SEC) meeting at the Council Chamber, Government House, Minna.

He stated:”All the revenue-generating MDAs should redouble their efforts to make sure the monthly target of N10 billion is achieved.”

The commander of tion Whirl Stroke (OPWS), Maj Gen Sunday Igbinomwanhia, has said the military will continue to review its tactics and methods against the enemies of the state.

Igbinomwanhia’s statement was made at a stakeholder meeting that drew participants from Benue, Nasarawa, and Taraba states on Wednesday.

He said that synergy between civilians and military authority had helped OPWS succeed in reducing the clashes between farmers and herders in the three states.

Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Speaker Mudashiru Obasa have met with the State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC).

GAC is the highest decision-making body of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos.

The meeting which held at Lagos Assembly, attracted former Deputy Gov Mrs Adejoke Adefulire, Cardinal James Odunmbaku, Dr Yomi Finnih, Ganiyu Olarenwaju Solomon, APC Lagos Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi and other party stalwarts.
