Tinubu Receives Presidents Of Benin, Niger, Guinea-Bissau

The presidents of Benin, Niger, and Guinea-Bissau arrived at the Aso Rock Villa, on Tuesday, to visit their Nigerian counterpart, Bola Tinubu. ⁣

President Patrice Talon of Benin, Mohamed Bazoum of Niger and Umaro Embaló of Guinea-Bissau were received by Tinubu at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.⁣

Soon afterward, he led the West African leaders into a private session at his office. ⁣

While the specific Agenda of Tuesday’s meeting is not yet public, it comes barely nine days after President Tinubu assumed the Chairmanship of the Authority of Heads of State of the Economic Community of West African States. ⁣

Gov Agbu Appoints Emmanuel

Taraba State governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, has approved the appointment of Hon. Emmanuel Bello as Special Adviser on Media and digital Communication.

According to a statement made available to the press by Yusuf Sanda, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, the appointment is with immediate effect.

Adeleke To Swear In Commissioners Wednesday

The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, will on Wednesday (tomorrow), swears in his newly appointed commissioners.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that the Chief of Staff to Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former governor of Osun State, Festus Adeyemo, and two commissioners that served in the state cabinet during the tenure of ex-governor, Rauf Aregbesola, alongside 22 others were unveiled as commissioner-nominees by the State House of Assembly.

More Trouble Awaits APC–Primate Ayodele

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has warned of more crises awaiting the All Progressives Congress, APC after President Bola Tinubu releases his ministerial list.

Primate Ayodele warned that some high-ranking APC members would rise against the party and cause a state of dilemma.

In a statement by his Media Aide, Olutosin Osho, Ayodele said some APC members would rise for revenge for being ignored by the president.
