Niger coup: Primate Ayodele fires warnings to Tinubu’s government

The Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has warned President Bola Tinubu. The chairman of the Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS) against attacking the coup plotters in Niger Republic.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele noted that the attack against the Niger Republic will lead to the downfall of Tinubu’s government. He said it’s because Nigeria doesn’t have the capacity and it will lead to a severe protest to end the current government.

The prophet noted that USA and NATO are only deceiving Nigeria and African nations other than destroying the continent.

Apart from the ECOWAS chairman, the prophet warned other African nations not to attempt to go to war. He said it’s because it will spread around the world and that the plan is to make Africa the face of the third world war which God is strongly against.

Tinubu Should Create Revenue Ministry – Sen. Ibrahim

Senator Jimoh Ibrahim representing Ondo South on the platform of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) has advised President Bola Tinubu to consider creating a Ministry of Revenue to coordinate the activities of all revenue-generating agencies.

Senator Ibrahim’s advice is coming on the heels of preparation by the executive to assign portfolios to Ministerial nominees after their confirmation by the Senate.

The lawmakers gave the counsel when he paid the President a courtesy visit.

He also explained that the proposed ministry would help pull the country out of the current economic crisis it found itself in.

Police arrest Zamfara notorious kidnapper, female informant

The Zamfara State police command has arrested one notorious kidnapper, Lawali Danhajiya, whom it said specialised in abducting people of Gusau, the state capital.

Also arrested was a female informant, Umma Zubairu, who worked for a dreaded bandit kingpin, Dan Karami.

Addressing journalists at the police headquarters in Gusau, the spokesperson for the command, ASP Yazid Abubakar, said the suspected kidnapper, Danhajiya, had been terrorising the Saminaka area in Gusau town, the state capital.

He said, “The Police Tactical Team attached to Gusau Area Command acted on actionable intelligence that led to the arrest of the notorious kidnapper, Danhajiya.“

In the course of the investigation, one Mika’ilu Ibrahim “m” of Saminaka identified the suspect as one of the bandits that kidnapped him sometime in March 2023 at his residence in the Saminaka area. Another victim named Aina’u Aliyu “f” of the Saminaka area also identified the suspect as the one who kidnapped her on 22nd June 2023.”

Abubakar stated that the case was under investigation, adding that the suspect would be charged in court upon completion of the investigation.

LASTMA rescues four accident victims in Lagos

tives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), yesterday, rescued four accident victims at Adeniji Adele, inward Oyebanji, Lagos Island.

LASTMA’s Oladunni Ademola ‘Zebra’ (Zone 1 Sura), who led the rescue team disclosed that the lone accident involved a Toyota Sienna (MUS 706 EQ). Ademola disclosed further that a preliminary investigation revealed that the driver was a top speed and could no longer control the vehicle after noticing the brake failure. He confirmed that LASTMA officials rescued four victims, two males, and two females.
