"Tinubu's son, Seyi Tinubu, is capable of holding a position as a minister in Nigeria" -Agbakahi

According to George Agbakahi, a key APC official, Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, is competent to work as a minister in Nigeria.

Agbakahi was asked by Rufai Oseni, the host of Arise , whether he thought Seyi Tinubu should hold a ministerial position in his father’s administration in light of the fact that Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former US President Donald Trump, served in that administration as an advisor. In his answer to Rufai Oseni, Agbakahi said that Seyi satisfies the prerequisites to be a minister. But he said that, considering that Tinubu already has many ministers from Lagos State, he didn’t think it would be acceptable for him to be appointed one.

When referring to the adviser who was the son-in-law of the previous president Donald Trump, Agbakahi said, “I think you misunderstood me. Given his ancestry, Seyi, Tinubu’s son, is really qualified to hold a ministerial position in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I should remind out that, with the exception of a very tiny number of occasions in which a state generates two or more ministers because of other political or theological causes, every state produces one minister. I don’t think Seyi Tinubu should become a minister at this time based on what I currently understand: Lagos State has produced two or three. But is he qualified to serve as a minister? In fact, he is.
