Tinubu: For someone who want to hit ground running he ought to have had his cabinet list ready-Dumebi Kachikwu

Former ADC presidential candidate Dumebi Kachikwu said that if President Tinubu wanted to get things going quickly, his cabinet list should have been prepared.

Dumebi Kachikwu said this in an interview with Arise for the morning show programme when Ayo asked him what kind of cabinet list he would prefer to work with Tinubu on because in his response to Tinubu’s speech on democracy, he expressed disappointment that Tinubu had not chosen his cabinet list from the start. He need to additionally discuss the palliative.

Dumebi Kachikwu’s response was,

“Tinubu should have had his cabinet list prepared from day one if he wanted to get started right away. He didn’t do it, which disappointed a lot of people, including me. Although the constitution gives him a grace period of around 60 days, we are still waiting for someone to act who understands that our nation is in dire straits.

He continued by saying that the elimination of gasoline subsidies shouldn’t have affected palliative care; rather, it should have been prepared for and taken into consideration.

“Nigerians have already experienced the removal of file subsidies for the past month, making it two months in total.”
