Tinubu approves construction of 1,000 houses in Kebbi, Kastina, Kaduna, others – VP Shettima

The Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, who was a two-term governor of Borno State, has revealed that President Bola Tinubu has officially approved constructions of 1,000 houses in Sokoto, Zamfara, Kaduna, Kebbi, Katsina, Niger and Benue States, DAILY POST reports.

This was made known in a statement issued by Mr Olusola Abiola, the Director of Information, Office of the Vice President, on Friday, 8th September.

The statement said that the Vice President made this known in Borno State, where he went for the commissioning of projects executed by the State govt. in its last 100 days in office. Shettima said that the house project is a part of Tinubu govt’s plan to put an end to conflicts and disputes in the Northern part of the country.

Shettima also said that Mr President approved N50 billion to the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, to kick-start the Pulaku initiative which was a non-kinetic solution to the crisis tormenting especially the North-Western residents of Nigeria.

“President Tinubu insisted that all the victims must be carried along,” the Vice President said, adding the every Nigeria will also benefit from the development.
