'There Was A Decrease In Crime Before Election Because Bandits Were Engaged By Politicians' -Ejiofor

A Former Director Of the Department of State Security, Mike Ejiofor has alleged that there was a decrease in the bandits’ activities in the North Central and North West because the politicians engaged the Bandits. Ejiofor said in an interview with Arise Tv news that with the commencement of governance, the insurgency has resurfaced once again. 

He said, ”You see, the question is why the rise this time, because there is a type of attendance now in Terrorist activities. It’s not just the North West and North Central but virtually all over the country. If you go to the South East, the activities of the Unknown gunmen are there. Then coming to the North Central and North West, before the election there was a decrease in crime wave because they (Bandits) were engaged by politicians. 

And now, it’s time for governance, changes have been made and we have new service Chiefs who have come on board to bring their experience to bear. These terrorists on their own path will also want to prove that they are still there to cause a lot of havoc.”
