The Numbers Of Initiatives Will Be Deployed In The Coming Weeks To Reverse This Inflation-Dele Alake

Henry Dele Alake Listen (born 6 October 1956) is a Nigerian journalist, activist, and technocrat. He is a former commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos State between 1999–2007.

While speaking recently on channel Television, the cleric reportedly stated that “The approval of the request of Mr. President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been approved by the Senate. On this note, the president has declared with immediate effect the following action;

1. The state of emergency of food security: All matters about food and water availability as essential livelihood items will be included in the purview of the national security council as a direct and immediate response to this crisis. Speaking further he said “The Numbers Of Initiatives Will Be Deployed In The Coming Weeks To Reverse This Inflation and to guarantee the use of the uninterrupted supply of affordable foods to ordinary Nigerians. And of course, we will release fertilizers and grains to farmers and households to mitigate the effect of the subsidy removal.

2. There will be an urgent synergy between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of water resources to ensure adequate irrigation of farmland and to guarantee that food is produced all year round. We will also establish ranches in collaboration with the state government and the federal government will pay for the land respectively.
