Presidential Election Tribunal: Atiku, Obi To Know Fate As Court Deliver Judgment Tomorrow

The Presidential Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja, will on Wednesday deliver judgment on petitions seeking to nullify the election victory of President Bola Tinubu, according to Vanguard.

It was reported that the two petitions marked CA/PEPC/03/2023, and CA/PEPC/05/2023 were brought before the court by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) and former Vice President and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Recall that Justice Haruna Tsammani led five-member panel had on August 1, okayed the cases for judgement after all parties presented their final arguments.

While adopting their final written address, the PDP and Atiku, represented by Chief Chris Uche, SAN, and their legal team, called on the court to declare that Tinubu was not eligible to contest for the presidential election held on February 25. They prayed the election tribunal to cancel the entire results of the presidential poll and order for a new election.
