Tinubu Is God's Plan, Not God’s Purpose, Going To Supreme Court Is Waste Of Money – Primate Ayodele Tells Obi

Popular Nigerian cleric and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has reacted to the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja which was passed on Wednesday, 6th of September, 2023.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated other strong contenders including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP to clinch the apex political seat in the country.

Recall that the presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar challenged the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja and their petitions have been struck out by the court last Wednesday.

The Sun paper reported that Primate Elijah Ayodele said; “People are not seeing the power behind Emilokan mantra. When Tinubu uttered Emilokan was there any enchantment to counter that pronouncement? At this stage, ten million pastors cannot help Obi neither can ten milion Imams help Atiku.”

He added; “It is only God that can arrest the spirit behind Emilokan. Tinubu is God’s plan not God’s purpose. Going to the Supreme Court is a waste of money. Obi and Atiku should use the money they intend to spend to pursue their cases at the apex court to support the suffering Nigerian masses.”

The recent statement by Primate Elijah Ayodele which was shared by The Sun paper on its verified Facebook page has generated a lot of reactions from many Nigerians on the social media platform.
