Shehu Sani Reacts As Finance Minister Announces FG's Decision To Stop External & Internal Borrowing

In the wake of the report posted by The TRIBUNE on Monday, August 28, indicating an announcement made by Finance Minister, Wale Edun that the Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government will no longer resort to internal and external loans to run the country, civil rights activist, and former Kaduna Lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to social media to applaud the move.

In a short tweet posted on his verified Twitter handle on several hours ago, Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Constituency at the 8th National Assembly on the platform of the PDP, expressed relief at the government’s decision to stop borrowing money to execute its annual budget.

Going further, the former lawmaker went on to point out that the major task confronting the Bola Tinubu administration is how to get the country out of the huge burden of humongous debts left behind by the immediate past government.
