Shehu Sani Reacts After The Election Tribunal Upheld President Tinubu's Victory.

Shehu Sani, a well known Nigerian politician, former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, social media personality, and human rights activist, has taken to his official Twitter page to react after the Presidential election tribunal dismissed an appeal by Labour Party and PDP against President Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu’s victory in the February 25th Presidential election.

For those who are not familiar with the current news, it was reported that on Wednesday, the tribunal dismissed all charges filed by the former governor of Anambra State and Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Gregory Obi, challenging President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25th Presidential election.

However, Peter Gregory Obi in a statement issued by the national Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party noted that justice was not served in the judgment, adding that it did not reflect the law and desires of the people.

Reacting to this information, the former Senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial District and President of the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria, Shehu Sani, noted that the tribunal is the first half of the match, and the Supreme Court is the second half of the match.

Speaking further, Shehu Sani made it known that those who lost in the first half (which is the tribunal) may likely win in the second half (which is the Supreme Court).
