VP, Shettima Releases List Of Seven States That Will Benefit From Housing Project Of Tinubu's Govt

According to Vanguard paper, Vice President Kashim Shettima of Nigeria has announced that seven states are set to benefit from a housing project initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government. These states include Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Zamfara, Kaduna, Niger, and Benue. The housing project is a vital component of President Tinubu’s strategy to mitigate conflicts in northern Nigeria.

While attending a commissioning event for projects carried out by the Borno State Government, Vice President Shettima, acting on behalf of President Tinubu, disclosed that 1,000 houses will be erected in the aforementioned states. He emphasized that President Tinubu’s administration is dedicated to extending development initiatives across the entire nation.

Vice President Shettima stressed that President Tinubu is fully aware of the challenges faced by Nigerians and is resolute in addressing them. He further noted that President Tinubu has allocated ₦50 billion to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to initiate the Pulaku project, aimed at resolving crises in the northwest region of Nigeria.
