'Sen Adamu And Sen Omisore Came To The Realization That It Was Time To Step Aside' – Hilliard Etta

A Former APC Acting National Chairman, Hilliard Etta has alleged that Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Senator Iyiola Omisore were not forced out of the APC. He said in an interview with Arise Tv that the two party leaders discovered that it was honorable for them to step aside. He also clarified that there is no crisis in the party and that the action of the gentlemen was established on the reality of what transpired before the last Presidential election.  

He said, ”There is nothing in the mainstream media that suggest that the Chairman and Secretary were forced out of their seat. Senator Adamu and Senator Omisore came to the realization that it was time to step aside. There is no crisis in the party and I have read in some newspaper. The National working committee has had a fruitful discussion today and that meeting is to pre-empt the next meeting of the NEC of the party. Everything is as it should be.”
