Holiday Allowance: Apologize To Nigerians – Ohanaeze Tells Nigerian Senate.

According to Daily Post, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has responded to the statement of the Senate president, Godswill Akpabio, on holiday allowance of the senators.

The Apex social cultural organisation of the igbos, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has faulted Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s comment over holiday tokens for legislators.

However, Ohaneze Ndigbo, said Godswill Akpabio’s remark cast doubt on the integrity of lawmakers and is an attempt to destroy their reputation.

Notably, the social cultural organisation urged the Senate to ask Nigerians of forgiveness and clarify the remark.

According to the organisation’s factional secretary general, General Okechukwu Isiguzoro, Godswill Akpabio’s statement regarding to the distribution of holiday tokens to all one hundred and nine senators has created criticism among the Nigerian public, adding that this revelation comes at a time when Nigerians are already battling with hardship and removal of fuel subsidy

However, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo also urged senators with integrity to speak up.
