Reactions As Sen. Sani Says He Knew Abdullahi Adamu Would Go In the Same Way Like Adams Oshiomhole
Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the recognition of the erstwhile National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, with a tweet that has sparked many reactions on Twitter.
Commenting on the development, the Senator wrote his Twitter handle:
“From the moment he announced Lawan as the ruling party’s consensus candidate and was left stranded by Buhari, to the moment he was kept in the dark on the approved list of principal officers of the National Assembly, I knew that Adamu will tread the path of Adams.”
Recall that the embattled former Chairman had a few days before the 2023 presidential primary election, announced the immediate past Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, as the party’s consensus presidential candidate, a move that governors on the party’s platform vehemently oppose. The governors eventually prevailed and Bola Ahmed Tinubu got the party’s presidential ticket.
Then, just a few weeks ago, Adamu’s reactions to the party’s approved list of principal officers of the National Assembly showed that he did not know about the list.
According to Senator Sani, those two incidents were sufficient indicators that Adamu was going to go the way of another former APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, who was removed from the position unceremoniously.
The majority of the people who reacted to the Senator’s tweet agreed with him, albeit indicating their delight in his wordplay.
