Senator Shehu Sani has sparked massive reactions on Twitter with his comment on yesterday’s ruling of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) on the petitions brought before it by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, against the victory of their All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The tribunal struck out and dismissed all the claims of the petitions of the two petitioners and affirmed Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected President of Nigeria.
But the former lawmaker suggested that the ruling dashed the hopes of some Nigerians and termed it magical.
Reacting to it, he wrote:
“Those who went to Court expecting miracle instead met magic.”
Interestingly, the majority of the people who reacted to his tweet agreed with him though many argued that they didn’t expect any miracles.
