'President Tinubu Actually Hit The Ground Sprinting, He Has Shown Zeal And Courage' -Dr. Doyin Okupe

Dr. Doyin Okupe, a prominent politician and former member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), recently shared his perspective on social media about the economic challenges handled by the Bola Tinubu administration.

Okupe expressed his thoughts on Twitter on August 17 in a tweet as seen below, stating that Tinubu, during the initial weeks of his presidency, promptly implemented decisive measures to stabilize the economy.

He commended Tinubu for displaying enthusiasm and bravery in making bold decisions such as removing petrol subsidy and standardizing the country’s exchange rate.

However, the former PDP leader stressed that the President should take additional actions to allete the economic difficulties resulting from these policies.

Okupe wrote, “President Bola Tinubu hit the ground sprinting, showing determination, zeal, commitment, and courage. He has taken two extraordinarily bold steps by abolishing fuel subsidy and equalizing foreign exchange.”
