The Presidency on Tuesday labelled as false, a claim by Gudaji Kazaure that N89.09tn allegedly siphoned from stamp duty charge is missing.
In a statement, the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shahu, said the claim is false because the entire banking sector deposit is not even up to half of N89 trillion.
Shehu knocked Kazaure, a member of the House of Representatives on Mismanagement or Embezzlement of Stamp Duty Funds, for accusing some government officials of “cover-ups” in the investigation of the funds.
