Peter Obi reacts to claim he held talks with Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwankwaso for possible merger

According to a news that was published by the Channels Television Online this evening, it was reported that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, Mr Peter Obi, today, responded to a report that he was in talks with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for a possible merger to wrest power from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

While he was speaking during a mega rally in Edo State, ahead of the local government elections in the state, Mr Peter Obi told hundreds of party supporters that, some of the things they were hearing everywhere were rumours, as he affirmed Labour Party will continue to grow and they will continue to go stronger and better.

He said that half of the things people were hearing everywhere, were rumours, and that they should not listen to them, as the Labour Party is committed to building a better and a new Nigeria, where they will move Nigeria from consumption to production.
