Peter Obi Is A Good Man, But The South East Alone Cannot Make Itself President Of Nigeria – Sen Onyekachi Nwebonyi

The Senator representing the good people of Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone, Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, has described the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate during the just concluded presidential election, Mr Peter Obi as a good man, noting that the people of south east region alone cannot make him or any other south easterner president without the help of other regions.

Speaking further, the lawmaker urged the people of the south east region to support other geopolitical zones so as to win presidency. He went on and made it known that Igbos must begin to play politics that will favour the Southeast at the national level, so that they will not lose out in the scheme of things.

According Sahara Reporters report, Senator Nwebonyi made this disclosure while the was speaking at a news conference in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital on Monday.

He said: “Last general elections, the Southeast voted for Labour Party. The presidential candidate of the party, Mr Peter Obi is a good man but the Southeast alone cannot make itself president of Nigeria. We must have the support of other geopolitical zones to win the presidency.”

Speaking further, the lawmaker recalled that the senators from the south east region agitated and demanded for more ministerial slot, they were informed that they they voted for Peter Obi during the just concluded presidential election.
