Peter Obi Cannot Claim Any Victory Through The Tribunal—Primate Ayodele Says Ahead Of Court Judgment

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the most recent general elections, cannot claim any win at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja, according to Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.

This was said by Primate Elijah Ayodele in a statement made public by his media assistant, Oluwatosin Osho, according to the Daily Post paper.

Recall that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress, won the presidency of the nation over other formidable candidates, including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP. This is according to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

In the Presidential Election Tribunal in Abuja, the victories of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, respectively, are currently being contested. Following the judges’ hearing of all petitions, Nigerians are currently anticipating the Court’s decision. Tomorrow (Wednesday) is when the decision is anticipated to be made in the case.

Primate Elijah Ayodele said; The tribunal will not allow him (Peter Obi) to claim any win, and as I already stated, the worst that can occur is that the election will be redone or things will continue as they are.

He added; “As it stands right now, things are still uncertain; a repeat is unlikely, but God can change anything. Nigerians should not place too much hope in the election tribunal because the ruling class does not want justice to win. The majority of Nigerians would not be satisfied with the election tribunal’s decision.
