Asari Dokubo: "BAT Should Not assign Ogoni People To Lead The NDDC."

Many hours ago, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo went live to discuss how President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu could pick those to manage the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

“I am sure the president knows the right thing to do because he has been in the struggle for a long time,” stated the Chief of the Kalabari Kingdom. He should not appoint Ogoni leaders to the NDDC. What I mean is that appointments should be made among individuals who live in oil-producing towns because they are the ones who bear the brunt of the devastation caused by oil extraction.”

Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo went on to say that “it will be an injustice if the president leaves the leadership of the NDDC to people who are not from oil-bearing communities.”

Finally, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo stated, “Ogoni people have locked up their oil since 1992, while others have been producing services with theirs.” Who will serve the nation if others behave like the Ogoni people?”
