PEPT Judgment: ' Atiku's greed denied PDP victory during election '- APC Chieftain, Okechukwu says

Mr. Osita Okechukwu, the Director General of Voice of Nigeria (VON) and one of the founding fathers of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has revealed that the political party of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lost the February 25th election owing to the greed of its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

According to DAILY POST NEWS, he made this known shortly after the Presidential Petition Tribunal gave its final verdict as regards the conduct of the 2023 presidential election.

In summary he said: ‘ Those issues could have been resolved if Atiku had obeyed the zoning convention, supported Peter Obi or any other Southern presidential candidate. The Wike masquerade would not have emerged. That would have meant that the bulk of votes he garnered could have been credited to PDP. Atiku divided PDP’s votes, all the votes Labour Party (LP) garnered were from the party’s stronghold. Also, a divided house cannot stand. Nigerians should recognize that Atiku by his greed denied PDP a possible victory ‘.
