PEPC: The Judgement Assumedly Proceeded From APC Presidential Legal Team – Chris Nwaokobia

The Convener of Country First Movement, Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia, has suspected foul play in the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to uphold the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC); as he said the judgement assumedly proceeded from the legal team of the ruling party.

Chris Nwaokobia had said, “The judgement, as it was, assumedly proceeded from the APC Presidential Legal team.”

Chris Nwaokobia, who spoke during an interview on The Morning Show, an Arise Television programme, revealed that there were mistakes in the judgement read by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. According to him, everyone who watched the court proceedings on Television would understand that the judges did not read the judgement that was prepared by them. He insisted that there would not have been many mistakes if the judges wrote the judgement themselves.

Nwaokobia had earlier also said the Tribunal did not admit the evidence brought forward by a worker at Amazon Web Services, because she was a purported member of the Labour Party (LP), but admitted the evidence from the Senate Majority Leader, Senator Bamidele Opeyemi, even though he is a member of the ruling party. He insinuated that the judgement of the Tribunal was designed to favour the APC.
