' Pardon Shaibu if he begs for forgiveness '- Stakeholders urges Edo State governor, Obaseki

Stakeholders of Edo South Senatorial District have appealed to Governor Godwin Obaseki to pardon his Deputy, Comrade Phillip Shaibu peradventure he seek for forgiveness as regards the rift between them.

According to DAILY POST NEWS, this was made known by Senator Uzamere Ehigie, the leader of the district who explained that they were solidly behind the Governor.

In summary, he said: ” Our leaders from Edo South Senatorial District resolved to visit you. You have done a lot for the State and we are here to support your administration and re-affirm our support and commitment especially at this turbulent time in the country. We are aware of what is going on between you and your Deputy and we stand by you and pray God gives you the wisdom to take the right path. The Deputy Governor is a younger brother. If he finds time to come to Your Excellency, please accept him so we can end well “.
