Festus Keyamo, the recently sworn-in Minister of Ation and Aerospace Development, has said that President Bola Tinubu’s choice to nominate him was not a random act of fate but rather a calculated and purposeful one.
When he took office on Monday in Abuja, he said.
He vowed to keep advancing the ation roadmap created by the previous administration, saying there were no plans to reinvent the wheel.
I’ve read the roadmap, which was created in 2016, and I’m pleased with how it’s organized, the minister said. We don’t want to interfere with what has been done so beautifully, I read it carefully. We will take a close look at anything that hasn’t been handled well.
We may have to add to the roadmap, but not completely remove it, he continued, since I know that it was the result of a roundtable that was convened in 2016. Because of this, if it was well thought out, I like the structure I saw.
Keyamo went on to say that in the next days, he planned to receive briefings and formulate ideas for the industry.
