Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu returns to Nigeria after four weeks of medical leave

The Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN has returned to Nigeria after four weeks of medical vacation in Germany.

According to Nigerian Tribune, the private Jet that brought Governor Akeredolu to the country touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at about 3:20 pm.

Governor Akeredolu was flown in a private Jet with United Ation flight, registration number N728B.

Report revealed that, Governor Akeredolu, having landed in Abuja, would immediately be flown to Ibadan Airport, and may either rest in Ibadan to spend his remaining days of his extended medical leave, or for onward movement to Ondo State.

A source who spoke with Nigerian Tribune said, the governor would possibly stay in Ibadan, Oyo State for a while before coming to Ondo State.

Recall, Governor Akeredolu, who official handed over power to his Deputy, Lucky Ayedatiwa, was flown out of the country to Germany on May 31st, 2023 to receive medical treatment over his failing health.
