The 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, LP, and former Governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, has said that the party (LP) will win the forthcoming Imo state 2023 Governorship poll.

The LP Presidential Candidate, who made this assertion recently, while speaking at the Flagg off of the campaign of the Imo state LP Governorship Candidate, Senator Athan Achonu, in Owerri as reported by the Vanguard newspaper, argued that the LP candidate is the best in the state, and as such, the party will win the poll.
In Peter Obi’s words: “LP will win Imo state. Athan Achonu is the only candidate of the party and he is the best (candidate) in Imo state. I am happy nobody has changed the process. I believe in process. LP want to change Nigeria.”
