Kwankwaso Told Us That Tinubu Asked Him To Tell NNPP That He Would Want To Work With Us – Buba Galadima

A former spokesperson for the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has insisted that the Presidential Candidate and the suspended National Leader of the party, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, took permission from the party before he met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in France; as he revealed that the former Kano governor had told the National Caucus of how the former Lagos governor proposed that the NNPP works with him.

Buba Galadima had said, “He (Kwankwaso) came back and told us that the President had asked him to tell his party that he would want to work with us.”

Galadima, who spoke during an interview on Night, an Arise Television programme, insisted that contrary to claim by the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the NNPP, that Kwankwaso did not inform the party before having a meeting with President Tinubu, the former Kano governor had a meeting with the National Caucus of the party. The former PCC spokesperson maintained that 13 members of the National Caucus of the NNPP were around for the meeting, where Kwankwaso revealed how Tinubu asked for a parley with him.

Galadima said Kwankwaso had also, after the meeting, reported back to the National Caucus that the President proposed that the NNPP works with him. He found fault in the move to suspend the former Kano governor.
