Kogi: You do not need to be scared of APC because of someone who calls himself a white lion- Dino Melaye

Former Senator Dino Melaye, who is vying for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidacy in the imminent Kogi state gubernatorial election, recently interacted with constituents, sharing valuable advice.

In the course of this engagement, he encouraged voters to discard any apprehensions they might have towards the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which were based on assertions from an individual who labels himself a “white lion.” Melaye underscored the unsubstantiated nature of such claims.

In his statement, he conveyed, “My fellow citizens, do not let fear of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) be fueled by someone self-proclaiming as a white lion. Have you ever encountered a white lion? It’s a mere fabrication.” He appended, “Governor Yahaya Bello lavishly spent vast sums while I was under scrutiny by security agencies and the electoral body.”

Melaye proceeded to highlight the conduct of Governor Yahaya Bello, contending that substantial financial resources were allocated by Bello during periods when Melaye himself confronted challenges posed by security agencies and electoral authorities. With a sense of conviction, the former senator asserted, “I want each of you to recognize that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stands in a more formidable position than the All Progressives Congress (APC) within Kogi state.”
