It is no longer news that the presidential election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja has delivered judgment on various petitions challenging Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the February 25th election.
You may recall that Mr. Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar have asked the court to overturn the results of the election.
Meanwhile, in the ruling delivered today, Mr. Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and the APM candidate had their petitions dismissed.
Former Social Democratic Party presidential candidate Adewole Adebayo has commented on the latest developments, saying that the judgement handed down today is correct.
Adewole Adebayo took to Twitter to dismiss petitions from opposition parties as “weak.”
He further called on the opposition parties to congratulate the president.
Hear him “I am not supposed to gloat that I told you so. Today’s judgments dismissing weak petitions are sound in fact and law, in substance, procedures, and conform to the Constitution, Electoral Act and established precedents. PeterObi, atiku should congratulate @officialABAT. 2027”
