It’s A Miracle-working God, Keyamo Says As He Celebrates His Ministerial Nomination on Twitter

The immediate past Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has sparked a flurry of reactions on Twitter with a recent post thanking God for his nomination for another ministerial position by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Quoting a tweet by The Nation newspaper containing the news of his nomination, the erstwhile Chief Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 election captioned his tweet with the lyrics of a very popular Nigerian chorus.

He wrote:

Before his nomination for the position, his political opponents had constantly trolled and taunted him on social media, especially Twitter, for his name not making it into the list of the previous two batches of nominees. They constantly reminded him that he had been sidelined after all his efforts during the electioneering campaign season. 

It was perhaps for that reason that he celebrated his nomination so jubilantly on the microblogging app.

But many of those who reacted to his tweet were both nonplussed and unimpressed.
