"It shows there is a big crack in their midst"- Bode George reacts as Lagos HoA reject Babajide Sanwo-Olu's nominees

According to a news that was published by The Nigerian Tribune paper Online this morning, it was reported that the former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, while speaking with The Nigerian Tribune correspondent, has reacted to the crisis affecting the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State presently over the rejection of commissioner nominees that were listed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

During the interview,Olabode George was told that there is crisis between the legislative arm in Lagos and the Lagos State governor, over the Commissioner-nominees list. And last week, the Lagos State House of Assembly approved just 22 people out of the 39 nominees that were submitted to it by the state governor, rejecting 17 others. Olabode George was asked what his view is on this.

While he was talking, he said that as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, he was still waiting for the Court to decide.

He said, “As the opposition party, we are still waiting for the court to decide but morning shows the day, people say. It shows you that there is a big crack in their midst. Because, how can the same leadership of a party, the same party, members of the same party in the Assembly can’t agree ? And they had to disgrace themselves publicly ?”

Further talking, Olabode George said, “It shows you that what we said about this party, All Progressives Congress, is that they are just there not minding the business for which they were elected, but for their own self aggrandisement and interest.”
