'I'm Surprised Wike Is Coming With Threats When He's Yet To Understand Abuja Master Plan' – Charles Nwekeaku

A Professor of Public Management, Charles Nwekeaku has alleged that the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike rolled out threats while he’s yet to understand the Abuja masterplan. He said in an interview with Arise Tv news that Wike in his first day in office shouldn’t be speaking about pulling down buildings in Abuja. If you would recall that Wike said in his first press statement that as minister he will be destroying buildings without a Certificate of Occupancy in Abuja. 

He said, “Nigeria government has often acted without thinking. For example, if you listen to the former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike who has been inaugurated as the minister of FCT. He started by saying he will pulldown any structure not in line with the master plan. I know he was Rivers State’s former governor but he hasn’t read much about Abuja’s master plan. I’m surprised that he’s coming with threats when he’s yet to understand Abuja’s master plan.”
